• Gospel Choir - Invited to perform for Black History Month during February @ RMSA
• Solo & Ensemble Competition at Charleston Southern University: February 21
• All State Honors Choir Weekend and Concert @ Winthrop University: March 19 - March 21 ($150 per participant)
• Bella Voce - Carnegie Hall Concert for Kirby Shaw in New York City: April 10 - April 14
• SHS Chorus Spring Concert - May 7
• SHS Choral Banquet, Social, and Awards Night: May 8 (free for all choral students)
• Baccalaureate Service - Bethany United Methodist Church: June 4

Fundraising Opportunity

• Many financial needs still have to be met!! Monies can be rolled over to personal ledgers for upcoming years after all present financial obligations are paid.
• Butterbraid: order forms and dealine dates forthcoming
• Chick-Fil-A: spirit nights for the remainder of the year are 2/18, 3/18, 4/15, 5/20

State of the Chorus

• Tri-M Music Honor Society recently completed a service project to send musical instruments to africa. Total amount raised: $128.08
• The Choral Department was interviewed by The Summerville Journal Scene. Look for us in next week’s edition!
• Four students from the Piano class will participate in a Piano Festival this April.

Officer nominations are being sought and accepted– please see a current officer or speak with Ms. Jones. Consider being involved and becoming a leader.
