We will be reading the autobiography A Long Way Gone. Students will take quizzes periodically throughout the book. The first quiz will be this Friday, April 3rd. We will resume the book when we return from Spring break.

Students worked on the Climate and Geography of Greece! Then a pop essay to see if they were able to bring patterns from the first semester into the second in a in class five paragraph essay. This will be used as a grade in English and Social Studies.

Students will have a 15 question vocabulary quiz on Friday, December 5th. It will cover India’s climate (5 word foldable), Buddhism, and Hinduism. Students need to begin studying for this early. Low quiz grades significantly students overall grades. Beware- the end of the quarter is quickly upon us!
